The GenExchange is a community effort to provide the genealogical community with FREE information in many forms (historical accounts, biographies, translation & lookup volunteers, census records, yearbook index, and many othe types of data.).

If you feel you can help in any of the areas listed below (or any others), send an email to: Joanne@genexchange.org

Types of Volunteers:
  • Adopt A County
  • Adopt A State
  • Transcribe records to be posted.
  • Post your records using simple online forms.
  • Snail mail data to be posted on your behalf.
  • Volunteer to do data entry of snail mailed data.

  • Offer Lookups from your resources .
  • Offer Translations to researchers.
  • Participate in GenChats on IRC.
  • Participate on one of our Mailing lists
  • Add your favorite links to GenLinks Plus.
